C est quand nous faisions la queue pour entrer chez VG's, notre boite de nuit preferee du mercredi soir.

Le froid arrive en Suede...et dans nos apparts! Un
chauffage minimal vient juste d etre mis en route et j apprecie! Car avant ca, rester chez soi le soir etait un vrai defi. J ai pris cette photo juste avant d aller me coucher : en plus de mon pyjama, je porte 2pantalons, un debardeur, 2gros pulls et 3paires de chaussettes! Et j ai toujours froid...

The cold has been coming in Sweden...and in our flats! A minimal heating has just been switched on and I really appreciate that! Indeed, before that, staying at home was a true challenge. I took this picture just before going to bed : more than my pyjama, I wear 2pants, one top, 2big sweaters and 3pars of socks! And I am still cold...

Sauna in Sweden.

Ca y est, nous prenons l habitude d aller au sauna. C est particulierement agreable apres une seance de piscine!

Do you know what is "systembolaget"...??!

En Suede, on ne peut acheter de l alcool que dans des magasins specialises appeles "Systembolaget". Pour acheter de l alcool, il ne faut pas seulement avoir plus de 20ans (bien sur, le caissier verifie votre carte d identite a chaque fois), il faut aussi avoir beaucoup d argent car l alcool est vendu tres cher. Petit exemple, la bouteille de vodka la moins chere coute 195SEK, ce qui revient a 20euro (30$).
NB: les bieres a plus de 3.5% sont consideres comme de l alcool.
Conclusion: si vous allez en supermarche pour acheter de l alcool, vous n y trouverez...rien du tout, ou seulement ce que les allemands appelent les "bieres de filles" (simpa!).

In Sweden, we can buy alcohol drinks only in some specialized stores called "Systembolaget". If you want to buy some alcohol drinks, firstable you have to be 20or more (of course, the casher always checks your ID) and you also have to have a lot money because all the alcohol drinks are very expensive. For example, the cheapest bottle of vodka costs 195SEK, ie 20euro (30$).
NB: beers with more than 3.5% are considered as alcohol drinks.
Conclusion: if you go to a supermarket to buy alcohols, you will find...nothing, or only what the Germans used to call the "girly beers" (nice!).

Mes gentils voisins venezueliens (Miguel y Hugo) m avaient invitee a un "petit" diner...Nous etions 25!! Vous pouvez distinguer au fond des personnes debout qui attendent que nous (les 15premiers invites) ayons fini de manger. Malheureusement, le repas etait tellement bon qu il ne restait plus beaucoup de nourriture apres notre passage!

My nice Venezuelian neighbors (Miguel y Hugo) invited me to a "small" dinner...We were 25!! You can see in the back some people waiting than we (by "we" I mean the 15first guests) finish eating. Unfortunetly, the meal was so good that there was not a lot of food left after we had done!

Crayfish party.

Les suedois ont l habitude d organiser des "crayfish party". C est tres connu ici. Cela se resume a tous se reunir pour manger des sortes de petites langoustes. Bonne soiree garantie!

The Swedish people are used to organise some "Crayfish party". It s very famous here. Actually, the idea is just to get together in order to eat crayfishes. You are sure to have fun!

Richard's fire show, by night.

Il y a de ça quelques nuits, les gens d'Östra Torn se sont tous reunis autour d un feu. Puis, un hollandais nous a realises une performance avec du feu, obligeant un "volontaire" a participer. C etait tres impressionant!!

Some night ago, people from Östra Torn all met around a fire. Then, a Deutch guy realised a fire show, forcing a "random" guy to participate in it. It was amazing!!

Barbecue in ÖT.

Le beau temps est avec nous en ce moment donc il faut en profiter! Ns avons donc profiter de ce beau dimanche pour organiser un big barbecue a Östra Torn qui s est termine en match de foot! Tout le monde etait le bienvenu, mais chacun devait ramener a manger et a boire.

For now, the weather here is good so we have to enjoy it! So, this last sunny sunday, we organised a big barbecue in Östra Torn which ended with a soccer game! Everybody was welcome if he brought food and drinks.

Östra Torn red zone 08!!

En haut, (une partie de) Östra Torn, l endroit ou j habite. C est tres loin du centre ville (donc c est tres loin de tout) mais mon appartement est grand et bien. De plus, les gens qui habitent aussi ici sont super cools, du coup on fait toujours quelque chose tous ensemble pendant les soirees (cf : photo du bas, photo de groupe).

On the top, (a part of) Östra Torn, the place where I live. It s very far away from the center (so it s very far away from everything) but my appartment is huge and great. And, people who live here too are very nice, there is always something to do together in the evening (cf : group pic on the bottom).

Voila a quoi ressemblaient nos cours d introduction au suedois...
